Most necessities are available in Palestine, but wartime conditions hinder cultural activities, Dr. Nissan Touroff, Professor of Education at the Hebrew University, declared at a meeting of the Women’s Division of the Palestine Hebrew Culture Fund at the home of Mrs. Sigmund Thau here. The organization is planning several activities to assist needy writers in Palestine, mainly by financing publication of their works.
