Steps to mobilize the Jews of this city in support of the movement for better motion pictures will be inaugurated by the Metropolitan League of Jewish Community Associations, it was announced yesterday by M. Maldwin Fertig, former assistant corporation counsel. An important feature of the association’s effort will be neighborhood meetings of adults, including parents’ groups, to crystallize public opinion into a demand for improved films. The league is a division of the Jewish Welfare Board.
