Quick and persistent action to obtain more immigration visas for Jewish laborites was demanded today from the Executive of the Jewish Agency by associations of Jewish farmers and industrialists, in view of the danger existing for Palestine industry and agriculture due to the lack of labor hands.

The associations pointed out that many works started cannot be finished due to the acute shortage of labor, and that other enterprises cannot be started at all. Especially handicapped are the orange groves, where there are not sufficient hands to pick the fruit, was stated.
