Mariano Herrarte, the Guatemalan Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Mrs. Herrarte, were hosts last night at a reception in honor of Joshua Shai, who is leaving Guatemala this week after four years of service as Israeli Ambassador.
The invited guests at the reception, which was held at the National Palace, included Cabinet members, jurists, members of the diplomatic corps and heads of local communities. The Minister praised the Israeli envoy’s contributions to the strengthening of the friendly relations between Guatemala and Israel.
