Gulf Arab states agreed to provide the Palestinian Authority with $40 million a month for the next six months, The New York Times reported. The move, which reflects heightened Arab support for the Palestinians in their six-month-old conflict with Israel, will make Arab countries the chief source of financial support for the Palestinian Authority.
