The “Ha-Aretz,” Hebrew daily of Tel Aviv, destroyed its entire edition of yesterday when informed that it would be suspended for reprinting the secret police document published in the columns of the “Daar,” Hebrew labor publication.
The “Davar” has been suspended by the government for publishing a secret black list of the police, containing twenty-four names of Arab notables and Communists who were being watched by the police. Among the names listed were those of the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, Amin-el Husseini and his cousin. Jamal Husseini, Secretary of the Arab Executive.
