The thirteenth annual convention of Hadassah, the Women’s Zionist Organization of America, will be held this year at the Ritz Carlton Hotel, Atlantic City, June 23-25, according to an announcement from the national headquarters. The 32,000 members will be represented by 500 delegates from thirty-six states.
Hadassah will also participate in the convention of the Zionist organization, which will be held in the same place on June 26-28. The Junior Hadassah, which has 10,000 members, will convene on June 28-30.
Among the subjects to be discussed will be the expansion of the health welfare work which Hadassah is conducting in Palestine. A report will be submitted by a commission now making a survey of the health work in Palestine. The commission, which consists of Miss Henrietta Szold, honorary president of Hadassah; Norvin R. Lindheim, of the executive committee of the United Palestine Appeal, and Mrs. Edward Jacobs, vice-president of Hadassah, will return in May.
Mrs. Irma L. Lindheim is president of Hadassah. Mrs. Anna Moscowitz Kross, former assistant corporation counsel, is chairman of the convention committee.
