A delegation representing Hadassah and headed by Mrs. Siegfried Kramarsky, national president of the women’s Zionist organization, today presented the 1964 Henrietta Szold Award to Belgium’s Queen Mother Elisabeth.
The award, consisting of a citation and a gift of $1,000, was presented to the Queen Mother in recognition for “her commitment and dedication to the cause of Youth Aliyah.” She was cited for helping “to deliver countless thousands of children of Israel from the hands of evil and destruction into the hands of healing and salvation.”
