A $100,000 fund for scientific research and publications to be known as the Judah L. Magnos Memorial Fund has been established in the name of the late president of the Hebrow University of Jerusalem by the Hadassah, it was announced here today by Mrs. Samuel J. Rosensohn, chairman of the organization’s medical committee.
The fund will be used to grant annual research fellowship awards to doctors and scientists on the staff of the Hadassah Medical Organization in Israel and the Hebrew University-Hadassah Medical School for work being done in Israel. The medical school will be opened officially on May 14, the first anniversary of the establishment of the state of Israel.
