Contributions totaling $18,000, including two gifts of $5,000 each, have been received by Hadassah for its Youth Aliyah fund for the transfer of Jewish children from Germany to Palestine, it was announced today by Mrs. David B. Greenberg, chairman of the National Youth Aliyah Committee of Hadassah.
Among the contributions were $5,000 from Mrs. Felix Fuld, of South Orange, N.J., an anonymous gift of $5,000 and $1,000 each from Mrs. Felix M. Warburg, Mrs. Rebekah Kohut and Miss Florina L. Lasker.
Mrs. Greenberg said a national committee of prominent Jewish women had been formed to promote the project. She also announced that a countrywide tour of the United States will be made by Mrs. Ilse Warburg, of Berlin and Jerusalem, a Youth Aliyah leader, who is expected here from Palestine early this month. Mrs. Warburg is the daughter-in-law of Prof. Otto Warburg, of the University of Berlin and a relative of the New York Warburgs.
