The American Heritage Foundation Award for “outstanding public service” was presented today to Hadassah in recognition of the role it played in the National non-partisan Register, Inform Yourself and Vote Program of 1956. The citation was presented to Dr. Miriam Freund, national president of Hadassah by Brenday Bryne, executive director of the Foundation.
