The Peter J. Schweitzer Hospital in Tiberias, Palestine, will reopen tomorrow, following a contribution of $1,500 yesterday voted by Hadassah, the women’s Zionist organization, according to an announcement from the group.

The national board of Hadassah voted the sum following receipt of a cable from the Palestinian town, which appealed for immediate help in opening the hospital, since there was great danger of disease spreading as a result of the recent floods. More than half the 9,000 inhabitants of Tiberias are Jews. The Schweitzer Hospital and a Scotch mission hospital are the only institutions capable of serving the health needs of the locality. The combined bed capacity is 100.
