A countrywide emergency campaign to provide funds for the rescue and rehabilitation of 6,000 Jewish child refugees from Europe, for whom certificates of entry into Palestine have been granted by the British Government, was launched here today by Hadassah. A tentative emergency goal of $500,000 in addition to Hadassah’s already accepted 1943 budget of $360,000 for this work has been announced.
