Hadassah, the Jewish women’s organization, will participate in the 1970 White House Conference on Children, Dec. 13-18, its national president, Mrs. Max Schenk announced. “For sixty years Hadassah has provided in Palestine and now in Israel health, educational, rehabilitative and vocational training services,” Mrs. Schenk said. “So much of this Israeli experience is relevant to us in the United States today as we are confronted with problems of day care and of bringing the culture gap between the disadvantaged and those of us in the mainstream of society.” Mrs. High Salpeter, Hadassah national chairman of Youth Aliyah, will head the delegation, which includes: Mrs. D. Leonard Cohen, American Affairs; Mrs. Charlotte Jacobson, Hadassah Medical Organization; and Mrs. Raphael Tourover, Washington representative.
