The 25th anniversary of the graduation of the first class from the Hadassah Nurses School hers was celebrated at a dinner last night.
Speakers cited the pioneering role of Jewish nurses and their contributions in upbuilding the country and improving the health of the Jewish population as well as the refugees who have arrived during recent years. One of the speakers estimated that 300 new nurses would be needed within the next two years to care for the expected wave of refugee immigration.
