The Hadassah tenth anniversary pilgrimage to Israel ended formally today and many of the 400 American women Zionists prepared to return to Israel after two weeks of touring. Last night, the 400 were guests of honor at a reception at the home of Foreign Minister Mrs. Golda Meir.
At a ceremony yesterday dedicating the new Henrietta Szold School of Nursing at Hadassah-Hebrew University Medical Center, United States Ambassador Edward B.Lawson presented Hadassah President Dr. Miriam Freund with a check covering a portion of the 190, 000 pounds pledged by the United States Government as a gift to Hadassah institutions here. The money will be used to build a special section for premature babies at the maternity pavilion of the medical center.
