Scopus, outside Jerusalem, Hadassah today announced that it had made representations to the State Department and to the British Ambassador in Washington asking that steps be taken at once to insure the safety of Palestine’s largest and best equipped hospital.”

During that time, 27 individuals, including doctors, nurses, patients and police were wounded, while a Hadassah nurse and guard were killed by snipers.
