Hadassah will send $5,000 tomorrow to Henrietta Szold, founder of the organization, on her 76th birthday for the child placement work she is directing in Palestine while Miss Szold spends the day testifying before the Royal Commission.
The birthday will be celebrated as “Founder’s Day” by Hadassah’s 55,000 members. The National Broadcasting Co. will broadcast a program written by Mrs. David de Sola Pool and Dorothy Kahn featuring a dramatic presentation of episodes in Miss Szold’s life.
