Mrs. Miriam Freund, president of Hadassah, American Woman’s Zionist Organization, and Zelig Lavon, chairman of the Histadrut Housing Corporation, signed a contract today for the construction of 600 housing units in a garden town adjoining the new Hebrew University-Hadassah Medical Center on the outskirts of Jerusalem. The new development will be known as Kiryat Hadassah.
