Part of the Hadassah’s preventive medicine establishments was transferred today to the Israel Government in a modest ceremony, attended by the Minister of Health, Dr. Joseph Burg and representatives of the Hadassah.
Dr. Burg highly praised the initiative of the Hadassah and its pioneering spirit. He emphasized that the state has not enough funds to meet its increasing health responsibilities resulting from large immigration. The Hadassah will now have a greater area for clinical and medical school activities in Israel.
