The annual conference of the lower New York State region of Hadassah will be held Monday at the Hotel Edison, 228 West 47th street. Mrs. Samuel W. Halprin, national president of Hadassah, who returns from Palestine on the Berengaria tomorrow, will address the meeting in the morning on present-day conditions in Palestine.
Mrs. A. J. Bandes of Brooklyn, president of the region, said that this will be a model conference, intended as a pattern for similar regional conferences of the organization throughout the country. More than 200 delegates are expected to attend from chapters in all boroughs of this city. Long Island, Westchester county and Greenwich, Conn.
The afternoon will be devoted to reports on Hadassah’s health work in Palestine and its education, fund-raising activities and membership in this country.
