The Hague public prosecutor has filed an appeal in the Supreme Court against a juvenile court sentence of three months for 15-year-old Jordanian Taysir El-Attar for throwing a grenade at the Israel Embassy on Sept. 8. The sentence, in a reformatory, will be less time the Loy has spent in detention. The prosecution had asked indefinite detention but the juvenile court held that the detention in a reformatory for the sentence was adequate punishment because of problems of language, religion and food complications.
