All leaves for members of the staffs of the British owned oil refineries in Haifa have been cancelled and preparations are now under way to reopen the plants within two weeks, Reuters reported today from Haifa.
The dispatch added that refinery workers were unable to confirm or deny a report that two tankers are an route to Haifa with crude oil from South America and are expected to dock by the end of the week.
