The Haifa Institute of Technology has acquired a site of 250 acres on the outskirts of the city from the Jewish National Fund and the Israel Government for an expansion program. The present site of the Institute is already crowded with buildings. Besides school buildings, workships and laboratories, it is planned to open student dormitories and activities rooms on the new site and to lay out athletic fields.
