The Jewish communal board of Vienna has directed the attention of the Austrian government to the increasing anti-Semitic propaganda of the Volkskampf, the organ of the Austrian Hakenkreuzler, in connection with the approaching Passover season.

The publication is printing numerous articles, accusing the Jews of ritual murder and terming the importation of Palestine malzos to Austria “a deal in human blood.”

The Hakenkreuzler organ quotes extensively from the anti-Semitic book, “Talmud Juden Ritual Moerders.”

The Kehillah asked the government how long such pogrom inciting propaganda would be tolerated.

Solomon Cicurel. Jewish proprietor of the largest department store in Cairo, was murdered Thursday night by burglars who entered his home, according to dispatches received from Cairo.

The assailants, according to one account, took jewelry worth $300,000 and escaped. Three arrests were made, including Mr. Cicurel’s chauffeur, an Italian.

Eight Jewish students were among the eighty elected to the Society of the Sigma Xi at Yale. Students who are eligible are received into membership because of marked excellence which they have shown in science.
