Matches between American soccer teams and the Viennese Hakoach, the champion soccer team of Europe, composed entirely of Jewish players, will be held in April and May, according to advices received at the headquarters of the team here.
Negotiations are now being conducted with the New York State Foctball Association and the United States Football Association, looking to the appearance of the players in the United States.
The negotiations are being conducted by Dr.Julius Kraus and Dr. Albert Masur, the representatimes of the team, and G. Randolph Manning, president of the State Football Association and Andrew M. Brown, honorary secretary of the United States Football Association, the advices state.
Twenty-three men will be sent to the United States, according to plans formulated.
The Hakoach Club has won European championships in the last two years in soccer, hockey, wresting and swimming.
