The mother and sister of Philip Halsmann, on their arrival here on the eve of the hearing of the appeal of Halsmann’s sentence, told a Vienna journalist, with tears in their eyes, that Philip has developed tuberculosis during the past year and a half that he has been in prison. The prison doctors have attested to the fact that he is suffering from tuberculosis.
