The Israel bond sales campaign in Utica will have a “cessation of activities” from today until May 15 in order to permit the United Jewish Appeal campaign to have full sway during this period, Maurice Levinson, chairman of the Utica Bonds for Israel Committee, announced here. His statement stressed the importance of “free dollars” for Israel as provided by the U.J.A. and urged bond workers to “give their whole-hearted support and effort to the U.J.A. campaign.
The bond drive office will remain open here to handle collections and sale of bonds to those who wish to purchase them of their own accord.
