Hamas officials confirmed that the Palestinian Authority arrested one of the militant group’s leaders, The New York Times reported. Mohammed Deif was recently arrested when Palestinian security forces stormed a house in Gaza City. Palestinian officials have refused to confirm the arrest of Deif, who tops Israel’s most-wanted list for involvement in terror attacks.
