Israel officials disclosed today they had received a report from United Nations Secretary General Dag Hammarskjold on his recent Cairo talks on the Suez Canal blockade of Israel shipping. They declined comment on the report which was received here yesterday.
Prime Minister David Ben Gurion will, it was understood, submit the report to the Cabinet with his observations on it in writing. Continuing to spurn his four leftist coalition partners in the Government, he indicated he would not attend the Cabinet meeting Sunday and will have Finance Minister Levi Eshkol serve as his deputy at the meeting.
