Harold K. Guinzburg, the New York publisher, left for New York on the Isle de France yesterday after a stay of several months in Europe, during which he attended the Evian refugee conference and conferred with the heads of a number of governments. Mr. Guinzburg, president of Viking press, is a member of the board of directors of the joint distribution committee.
