Harold Leopold Cohen, prominent merchant and philanthropist, died yesterday while traveling from London to Liverpool to lay the cornerstone of the Liverpool University library, to which he had donated $500,000. He was 63 years old. Mr. Cohen was the son of the late Lord Mayor of Liverpool.
