The 15-member Board of Trustees of the Harry S Truman Center for the Advancement of Peace held its inaugural meeting here today to lay down the constitutional framework for the center, which is expected to open sometime next year under Hebrew University auspices.
Members of the board include former Ambassador Avraham Harman. President of Hebrew University; Prof. Nathan Rotenstreich, university rector; Samuel Rothberg, chairman of its Board of Governors; and Arthur J. Goldberg, former United States Supreme Court Justice and Ambassador to the United Nations.
Other board members include Louis H. Boyar, Gen. Nathaniel Goldstein, Philip Klutznick, Max M. Low, Joseph Mazer, David Noyes, and Abraham Wechsler of the U.S., and from Israel, David Horowitz and Ernst D. Bergman, Don Patinkin, and Zvi Werblowsky.
