Harry Waisberg, a prominent attorney and active Jewish communal leader, was today appointed a judge of the County of York. He succeeds the late Judge Samuel Factor, who died several weeks ago. Mr. Waisberg is a member of the Joint Community Relations Committee of the Canadian Jewish Congress and he has served on committees of the Zionist Organization of Canada and had held office in the B’nai B’rith here.
