A $500 check to be used by Temple Beth Israel to promote friendship between the Christians and Jews of this city was presented to Rabbi Abraham J. Feldman on his tenth anniversary in this city by a committee including Protestant and Catholic priests and laymen.
Dr. John M. Phillips, presenting the check, said, “This is the answer of the Christians in our city to the flames of anti-Semitism burning cruelly in some parts of the world.”
