The West Hartford Zoning Board of Appeals has granted a petition of the Hartford Jewish Community Center for a zoning exception which would permit the center to use an insurance company office it has acquired as the nucleus of a new community center.
The entire project will involve an expenditure of about one million dollars. The community last year failed in an attempt to secure approval of another site in Hartford.
