The Harvard University Student Council has tabled a request to reconsider a ban on discrimination on grounds of race, color or nationality in all college organizations, it was stated here yesterday by Edward F. Burke, president of the body.

The ban, passed by the Council last December, is now before the Faculty Committee on Student Activities which is not expected to act on it for a while. Reconsideration of the Student Council ban was asked at a meeting last month, but was turned down.
