One of the most brilliant scholastic records in the history of Harvard University has been made by Daniel J. Boorstin 19-year-old grandson of Mrs. Benjamin Boorstin of this city.
Summa cum laude honors in history and literature, given to only five members in the last twenty years, were awarded the former Atlantan. Presented a Rhodes scholarship to Oxford University in England, which goes into effect immediately after his graduation this month, Boorstin was declared winner of the $500 prize for the Bowdoin dissertation in English.
