A plan where by the national B’nai B’rith might finance and encourage Jewish education in the United States has been drafted by Dr. George J. Saylin, president of the Boris Bogen lodge here. His plan is part of his undertaking to persuade the B’nai B’rith that it should assume the responsibility of educating the Jewish youth of the country. The plan will be presented to the District No. 4 convention at San Diego, June 28.
In the meantime the Boris Bogen lodge is arranging a banquet the proceeds of which will go to help pay the back salaries of Hebrew teachers.
