Some of Israel’s most prominent citizens, including President Itzhak Ben-Zvi, today attended funeral services for the late Hayim Salmon, one of the pioneers of Israels pharmaceutical industry, who diel here Saturday. He was 80.
Born here, Mr. Salmon had served on the Jerusalem City Council, was vice-mayor of this city for a term, was a founder of the Rehavia quarter and of Yeshurin Synagogue, and was among the founders of a hospital and a school here.
