Following favorable conversations with Arab leaders and with British officials who are pleased with the decision to send an Arab delegation to London and who are willing to assist it in the Colonial Office, George Antonius, an Arab government official, will precede the delegation to London to prepare the ground work for it, declares the Arab paper “Annafir,” published in Haifa. Antonius is an assistant director in the Palestine department of education. During the Inquiry Commission hearings he was called as a witness.

While the “Annafir’s” report may or may not be true the Jewish Telegraphic Agency learns that the Palestine government does not intend to offer any objection to the Grand Mufti or Mayor Nashashibi going to London as members of the Arab delegation, although both are pseudo-government officials.
