Hearn’s Department Store will turn over a percentage of the net income from all departments on Wednesday, February 15th, to the drive being conducted by the New York Chapter of Hadassah, it was announced by Mrs. Israel Goldstein, chairman of the Campaign Committee of the annual Donor Luncheon of Hadassah which will take place on March 20th at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel.
The arrangement has been made by the Hearn store through the efforts of Mrs. M. Levine and Mrs. Robert Weil.
Mrs. Felix M. Warburg will open the sale at 9:30 A.M. and will assign three hundred Hadassah members as saleswomen at the various counters in the store, which, for the occasion, will be decorated in Zionist flags.
There will also be on display literature and photographs showing Hadassah medical and health work in Palestine.
Among the saleswomen will be Mrs. Stephen S. Wise, Mrs. Nathan D. Perlman, Mrs. Rebekah Kohut, Mrs. Abram I. Elkus, Mrs. David DeSola Pool, Mrs. Bernard S. Deutsch, Mrs. S. Liebowitz, and Mrs. Sol Rosenbloom.
The window display is being arranged by Mrs. Samuel Lamport.
Jack Pearl, Broadway star, will be on hand to serve customers.
