Heavy Taxes Ruin More Jewish Traders in Russia

The measures taken by the Communist authorities in Moscow and Leningrad to collect the unpaid heavy taxes exacted from Nepmen and traders, has increased the number of Jews in the category of declassed persons.

Several hundred traders, mainly Jews, were deprived of their entire possessions by requisitions made in lieu of taxes.
