The “Hebrew College of the Air,” under the auspices of the Hebrew Teachers Training School for Girls of the Women’s Branch of the Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations, will be inaugurated tomorrow, at 5 P. M., over Station WPCH. It will offer lectures in Hebrew reading, Hebrew conversation and grammar, Bible and Jewish history.
Regular courses will be offered over the air. Students will follow the lectures and prepare the lessons which will be prescribed by the instructors. Instructors will gladly correct the home-work which will be sent in to them and return it to the students. Every participant may apply for a membership card of the College of the Air to the director, Joseph Datt.
The lectures will be as follows: Hebrew reading every Sunday morning at 10: 30 over Station WPCH; Bible every Monday afternoon at 5:15 over Station WPCH; Jewish history every Thursday afternoon at 3:15 over Station WOV; Hebrew conversation and grammar every Thursday afternoon over Station WOV.
