Plans for a Hebrew High School on Long Island, conducted under the auspices of the Long Island branch of the United Synagogue of America, were announced Friday by Dr. Harry L. Bisnoff, president of the local branch.
The school, which will accommodate more than 500 students desiring to carry on their religious studies beyond the elementary stage, will open this fall, Dr. Bisnoff said.
