The new building of the Hebrew Language Academy was dedicated today in the names of William and Minnie Salzman of New York. Mr. Salzman, who helped to launch the campaign to provide funds for the new building, was present at the ceremony.
Former Prime Minister Moshe Sharett, speaking as president of the Israel-America Cultural Foundation, and other speakers, lauded Mr. Salzman as a veteran Zionist, scholar and philanthropist. The Cultural Foundation assisted in raising funds for the building and contributes to the Academy budget.
