Not only will the Hebrew Law Association cooperate with the Beth Din Godol (Jewish legal senate) now being formed in Palestine, but it will also work for the introduction of courses in Hebrew law in the colleges of this country, it was announced yesterday by Moses Wortman, president. The organization also plans to aid in the establishment of a faculty and library of law at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
The newly elected officers are Mr. Wortman, president; Isidor Margolis, vice-president; Dr. Chaim Reines and George Horowitz, secretaries, and Rabbi Saul M. Hurwitz, treasurer, Those who attended the organization meeting are, besides the officers, Rabbi Samuel Mirsky of Yeshiva College, Rabbi Abraham Silverstone of Norwich, Conn., and Dr. Nathan Klotz.
