A new Hebrew Normal School of the Alliance Israelite Universelle was dedicated in Casablanca last Sunday by Rabbi S. Danan, the highest Jewish religious authority in Morocco, it was reported here today by Jules Braunschvig, vice-president of the Alliance, upon his arrival from Paris.
The school will train teachers of Hebrew and other Jewish subjects for all the Alliance schools in North Africa. It is hoped that it will also provide Jewish teachers for schools in the Spanish-speaking countries of Latin America.
