The Hebrew press of Palestine appears to be disappointed at the calling off by Felix Warburg of the meeting of the Administrative of the Jewish Agency for Palestine scheduled for New York, February 1. The “Davar” says that “the Zionist Organization is unable itself to increase our weight, to raise the people’s hopes, to demonstrate to our enemies our firmness and our resolution to continue under all circumstances. We have covenanted with the non-Zionists. Both sides undertook joint Palestine action and the undertaking stands so long as the covenant. It is very regrettable that the meeting has been postponed for danger lurks in our losing forces already with us.”
The “Davar” declares that what was prophesied came true. “The Agency partners have become the masters expressing overlordship without undue politeness.”
