A dinner for the benefit of the Rabbi Jacob Joseph School, which furnishes free food, clothing and shelter to more than half of its enrollment, was held at the Hotel Astor last night. Governor Lehman headed the dinner committee for the event.

Rubinoff, the violinist, who is appearing at the nearby Paramount Theatre, was scheduled to appear. The affair was held in the grand ballroom of the hotel.
